The Pit of Mans Fears – The Twilight Zone (73cm x 115cm)

In partnership with CBS Television, Dark Hall Mansion Publishing, and SHAG, this edition takes fans back to the early 1960’s with “The Twilight Zone” 150 episodes series made for television. It’s a strange mix of horror, science-fiction, drama, comedy, and superstition. “The Twilight Zone” was the brainchild of Emmy Award-winner Rod Serling; the first episode ran on October 2, 1959, ended in 1964. Serling introduced each episode, and many of the black and white episodes concluded with a surprise ending. Actors such as Burt Reynolds, Robert Redford, William Shatner made appearances in some of the more well-known stories. In 1983 Steven Spielberg produced a box-office hit feature film of its three classic episodes, starring Dan Aykroyd, Albert Brooks, John Lithgow, and the late Vic Morrow.

SHAG used the window and television screen as references to the opening credits sequence, and three subjects from 3 running episodes in the creation of the edition:
#1, Painting on the wall: “The Eye Of The Beholder” (aired 11/11/1960)
#2, Mystic Seer on the table: “Nick Of Time” (aired 11/18/1960)
#3, Doll on the sofa: “Living Doll” (saired 11/1/1963)

“The Pit of Mans Fears – The Twilight Zone” is a very rare, limited edition print with only 100 standard archival paper editions available worldwide. There is also an EXTREMELY RARE MIRROR PAPER EDITION WITH ONLY 15 CREATED on striking USA MIRI foil substrate. The edition was authorized by CBS Television.

This limited edition serigraph (200 + 15 foil) is SOLD-OUT years ago.
